About the Department                           

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been a jewel in the crown of our college since its inception in the year 1994. An excellent team of teaching and non teaching staff is dedicated in molding brilliant engineers of high caliber. In our department most of our faculty members are PG qualified. Three faculty memebrs are Ph.D in reputed institutions. The Mechanical Engineering Department has adequate infrastructure and state-of-the-art technical facilities in addition to a dedicated and well-educated faculty. Most of the faculty members are exposed in R&D in their respective fields, which motivated the students to carry out R&D apart from the fundamental studies.

To develop enterpreneurial skills and to impart training in latest technologies to students, the department has signed MOU with reputed industries and institutions.To impart in depth knowledge and training in the field of Mechanical engineering covering energy, thermal, design, manufacturing, industrial management, environment and to to the latest research, development and techniques so as to cater to the growing needs of the Industries and to mould the students as good CITIZENS of our Country.
