Department Initiatives

Association of EEE

The association encourages the students to organize and participate in the national level symposium. Electrical and Electronics Association organizes events and seminars periodically for the betterment of students. This Association allows students of EEE to exhibit their talents in various mind provoking events. The events organized by the association are International Conferences, National Conferences, Workshops, Seminars / Guest Lectures on advanced topics.

Professional Bodies of EEE

IEEE.org serves technical professionals and students who are looking to both foster working relationships and gain access to the latest technical research.

JCET has signed an MOU with PAN IIT,thereby improving the overall standard by exposing them to the ambience of Indian Institute of Technology(Madras)

Course Objectives

  • To provide effective education by emphasizing Engineering and Technology
  • To prepare graduates to successfully enter and pursue baccalaureate degrees
  • To enrich knowledge and encourage the students to satisfy technical, corporate requirements and to become Entrepreneurs
  • To proliferate technical professionals and equip them with knowledge and skills who practice electrical engineering in educational institutions or industrial organizations with commitment to their ethical and social responsibility

  • The demand for environmentally friendly power generation, cheaper and smarter products requires the smart work of electrical engineers

  • EEE has its scopes in NTPC, BHEL, ISRO, SAIL, BSNL, TNEB, ONGC etc.

  • Graduates of EEE are also well versed in the areas of manufacturing, installing and testing of electrical equipments to ensure that products meet the specifications and codes

  • Electrical Engineers are also eligible for software related corporates like TCS, CTS, IBM, WIPRO, HP, ACCENTURE and INFOSYS

  • The department organized many programs like conferences, workshops, seminars and FDP in National/International levels. Faculties identified the student skills & encourage them to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activitie
  • Membership in Professional bodies like IEEE, ISTE
  • Students can access department library for referring text books, national and International e-journals, University question bank, competitive books like GATE, TNPSC etc,
